The bush is the point of contact between the half-pulley and the variator hub and must slide radially and axially without undergoing deformation.
In view of this consideration we have improved the entire apparatus using case-hardened and ground steel bushings, both on the internal and external diameter, and, thanks to the use of 2 oil seals, the lubricating grease present in a tank licks the walls of the coupling hub bushing ensuring minimum friction in any condition, as well as always maximum efficiency performance.
Even the 22 mm variator hub has been improved in terms of design: in fact, holes have been made which join the internal and external chambers for the flow of grease and increase lubrication.
This technology likewise allows tolerances to be reduced and, as a result, all coupling clearances are also perfected and optimised.
Inside the variator kit there is a mobile half-pulley with a diameter of 99.5 made of a special die-cast aluminum alloy.
The contact surface between the pulley and the belt has been finished with a diamond tool with extreme precision to ensure a constant coefficient of friction, calculated to prevent the belt from slipping and, at the same time, to prevent premature wear.
